Another Lacy scarf - Mirror Lake Scarf
I love this pattern so much of the scarf I made last year for my sister's birthday, I had to do another one...I'm thinking more will be in my future...even if it is starting to get warm...can't hurt to be ready for next winter! :) Here is the pattern if you want to try it yourself. Enjoy!

Lose Weight by Crocheting!!
Okay so this posting doesn't have anything to do with something I've made, but while web surfing for new ideas on crochet, I found this article via another blog, the Crochet Spot, that lists "50 Ways to Cut 500 Calories a Day" listing #21 as "Get out your knitting needles"...awesome!!
Yeah, it says knitting, but since I have yet to bring myself to knit, crochet should get the job done, too! I'm sure Rachel over at the Crochet Spot agrees with me too. lol
Anyways, with all of these new year's resolutions going around by weight loss...I thought this article could offer some suggestions. Now I won't feel like such a bum for spending an entire weekend crocheting. :) Here's the article: http://health.msn.com/weight-loss/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100250356&page=1.

Another Reversable Halter Apron
My BF, Stefanie, recently joined me in my addiction of cake decorating...and that's when she realized she didn't have an apron to bake in! I gave her this for Christmas...these are so fun to make!

Birthday Banners
She might get mad at me for saying this, by my big sissy is now 30! However, if you've seen any of the pics of her on my blog, she still looks like a teenager :). For her birthday party, as a joke, we through a sweet sixteen party. Until the end when we brought out the "30th" stuff. I got to use my handy dandy Cricut machine again (after I dusted it off a bit since it's been a while) to make these banners for the party.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SISSY!! I LOVE YOU!
Coraline Birthday Cake
My sister loves the movie Coraline...as do I...so for her birthday yesterday, I made her a Coraline cake. If you haven't seen the movie, you may not quite understand some of this, but watch it and you'll get it right away, lol. I included a Coraline doll, the buttons, and the yellow stars from one of Coraline's shirts.
Bridal Dress Cake
My mgr, Renee, is getting married this weekend. Our team threw a potluck celebration at work in her honor. I brought in this cake as a duplicate of her dress on a manican. I have been wanting to make a "Barbie" cake (as these are called) forever and I'm glad I finally had the opportunity to do so...congrats to Renee and Thomas! And thanks to Jenny at everything knitticrafty for the awesome how-to on this cake!
